“THAT” Psycho Family

I suppose you are here at this page because you want to know about me and my psycho family.

We are “That” family - you know, the one that you see when you are at the grocery store or a restaurant with the out of control kids? Yep, that’s us. I suppose its because of 2 reasons, I have 4 (yes, FOUR) boys and also because of my ultra-casual style of parenting.

The Cast of Characters:

Jenn (Psychomom) - That’s me I’m 34 and the mother of FOUR sons. I work full-time at a casino (Vegas of the South) waiting tables. I grew up in Chicago, but ended up in Mississippi! About 15 years ago, my mother though it would be a WONDERFUL (insert extreme sarcasm here) idea to move to Memphis, Tennessee with my siblings. I ended up here via Minneapolis and Georgia. I got married to my first husband, had 3 sons and somehow never left the South.  James has put up with my shit since March of 2005 and we had my youngest son in August of 2006.

James (Psychodad) - He’s an amazing man (of course I might be a bit prejudice) that puts up with my shit on a daily basis. He never ceases to amaze me! He is a wonderful dad, he treats the older 3 boys like they are his own and adores the youngest boy too. He’s turned the big 4-0 in March and sometimes doesn’t deal with that well. His new job is, well hell, I’m not really sure WHAT is is that he does exactly - something to do with past due accounts.  Or maybe he really IS doing on the stripper circuit at old folks homes like he claims to be doing.  Hey, whatever brings home the bacon, eh?
Ten (Son #1) - My oldest son. He loves soccer and baseball, but hates football. He is the most sensitive of all of the boys, and a great big brother. He is in the Fourth grade and is smart as a whip, when he does his homework.

Six (Son #2) - The 2nd oldest son. He’s a tough guy, but has a soft side. He likes baseball and is a Guitar Hero maniac. He’s in Kindergarten and gives his teachers a bit of a time when he doesn’t want to do something. (Much to my dismay of course!)

Four (Son #3) - The almost baby. He’s his baby brother’s best friend, and will defend him at the drop of a hat. He will be in kindergarten in the fall (those POOR teachers!) and is probably the most willful of all of my boys. He is the child that gives me the gray hair that I cover up (Thanks Miss Clariol!) He hates T-ball (oh the stories I could tell!) but wants to try his hand (or is it feet) at soccer.

One (Son #4) - The baby. He looks like his dad but has my temper. He is sweet and spoiled. Four is his best friend, but he loves all of his big brothers.
